Submersible Borehole Pumps

In a submersible borehole pump-set the motor is close-coupled to the pump’s body. Since the motor is hermetically sealed it ensures safe and controlled conveying of the liquid. Submersible borehole pumps move water to the surface by converting rotary energy into kinetic energy and pressure energy. Water enters the pump by being pulled in through the intake, where the rotating impeller pushes the water through the diffuser. It reaches the surface from there.

The internal components of a submersible borehole pump set are completely sealed. Hence, the valves and components remain safe from being damaged. The pump set is coated to prevent corrosion resulting from staying submerged.

A submersible borehole pump is a low-maintenance pump thanks to its design and the place of installation. The pumping device does not require priming, so it can be easily and economically maintained.
